LONDON, UK (FEBRUARY 2022) - TeamSportz, the accessible AI multi-sport platform that enables teams to improve performance and gameplay, forms partnership with professional basketball skills coach, Gary Maitland, to combine Gary’s comprehensive training techniques with TeamSportz’s AI technology.
Bridging the gap between amateur and professional sports, TeamSportz is proud to be the first company to offer teams top of the line sports tracking technology and performance data without the need for additional equipment and at an accessible price, therefore providing everyone the opportunity to “train like a professional”.
Currently with TeamSportz, coaches can easily manage and connect with their teams and players all in one intuitive dashboard called Coaches Corner. This dashboard hosts team rosters, schedules practises and games, organises exercises, allows for easy game analysis, and measures player performance.
Players, on the other hand, use the TeamSportz mobile app, where they can practise exercises and drills using only their phone and easily showcase their results with coaches and teammates, highlighting training metrics like number of reps, number of sessions, speed, duration, form and accuracy. They can also see their game results stats such as field goal and free throw percentage, among many more.
In partnering with Coach Gary Maitland, TeamSportz will harness Gary’s knowledge and expertise to provide players with new shooting analysis and drills on the app to practise and master. TeamSportz will apply AI tracking onto Gary’s shooting drills on the app, instantaneously sharing statistics related to shooting form and percentage.
Gary has rich experience in working with male and female professional athletes, National Team players, and NCAA student athletes, and is constantly looking for ways to push the boundaries and innovate with his coaching tactics.
